About the Role

HotelJobs is seeking a dynamic and experienced Area Manager to oversee the operations of multiple luxury safari camps in Namibia. This pivotal role ensures the consistent delivery of exceptional guest experiences, strong team leadership, sustainability compliance, and high standards of asset management all aligned with the broader group strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage day-to-day operations across several high-end camps
  • Ensure optimal staffing levels and team performance at each site
  • Drive guest satisfaction and continually improve service delivery
  • Oversee and control camp budgets with accurate monthly reporting
  • Collaborate with the Assets & Projects Manager to maintain all assets
  • Enforce and enhance environmental, health, and safety protocols
  • Mentor and develop camp-based teams to build leadership from within
  • Respond effectively to guest and agent feedback alongside Customer Service Support concession and community engagement initiatives

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years leadership experience in hospitality or camp management
  • Proven ability in financial control and operational oversight
  • Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capability
  • Excellent communication and team development skills
  • Demonstrated commitment to sustainability and community impact

Qualifications
