About the Role
We are seeking a reliable and responsible Au Pair to join our family in uMhlanga, South Africa. The ideal candidate will be a female between 20-25 years old who loves children and is able to communicate clearly and play. The successful candidate will have a valid unendorsed driver’s license with vehicle, be well-spoken English, and Afrikaans speaking advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
- Follow school timetable during term and flexible during holidays
- Work as the primary caregiver for our child (hours: 2pm-6pm/7pm)
- Assist with homework and drive child to extra-curricular and other activities
- Perform admin duties at offices when not looking after child
Requirements
- Female between 20-25 years old
- Valid unendorsed driver’s license with vehicle
- Well-spoken English with Afrikaans speaking advantageous
- Responsible and reliable
- Hours are generally flexible, but must follow school timetable during term
- Must be able to work as part of a team
Salary & Benefits
Salary market related, ranging between R8k – R10k per month.
