Job Summary
Educational Background/Work experience
- Relevant certification within finance / accounting will be advantageous, not compulsory.
- Having a background in logistics would be advantageous.
- Experience in international trade is essential.
- Experience in shipchandling would also be beneficial.
Job responsibilities
- Enter quotes in client systems & internal ERP.
- Review supplier proposals for compliance with client requirements.
- Verify the currency to be used and apply selected tariffs.
- Transmit quotes to the account manager and upload to relevant systems.
- Communicate closely with the Commercial Manager on anomalies and applications.
- Validate client orders upon receipt.
- Process orders to invoicing for both suppliers and clients in ERP.
Skills & Competencies
- Knowledge of international trade techniques
- Fluent in English, French and/or Portuguese will be an advantage
- Proficient in Microsoft Office, particularly Word and Excel, and ERP systems
- Ability to work independently with strong attention to detail
- Capable of multitasking and performing well under pressure
- Organized, responsive, thorough, and adaptable
- Excellent communication skills and ability to take initiative
- Interested in professional growth within an international group of companies
