About the Role
GAP Consulting is seeking an experienced Business Development Manager | Dealer Sales to join our team in South Africa. We are a premium recruitment consultancy specializing in automotive and motor trade recruitment, and we’re looking for someone who can drive revenue growth and develop strong relationships with senior stakeholders. If you have a proven track record of success in B2B sales or account management, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement business development strategies to drive revenue growth
- Build and maintain strong relationships with senior stakeholders, including dealerships and suppliers
- Manage dealer sales teams to achieve sales targets
- Analyze market trends and competitor activity to inform business decisions
Requirements
- 1-3 years of experience in an automotive dealership environment or a similar B2B sales role
- Proven experience in B2B sales or account management, preferably in the motor trade or insurance sector
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to present and communicate complex information confidently to senior stakeholders
Qualifications
- Own car essential (as the role requires travel and networking)
- Must be presentable and polished in all interactions
Salary & Benefits
-Negotiable basic salary, plus incentives based on performance
