Job Description
Skills & Experience Required:
- Proven experience in commercial management, operations, or general management within a product or export-based business.
- Strong sales and business development background — ideally within agriculture, food exports, or FMCG.
- Solid financial acumen and experience managing budgets and performance metrics.
- Excellent negotiation, relationship-building, and communication skills.
- Highly organised, analytical, and proficient in business systems and reporting tools.
- Entrepreneurial, results-driven, and comfortable operating with both strategic insight and hands-on execution.
- Experience in the agri-export sector will be advantageous but not essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and oversee all commercial, operational, and administrative functions of the business.
- Develop and execute sales and marketing strategies to expand international and local client bases.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities, distribution channels, and export markets.
- Manage supply chain logistics, export documentation, and customer order fulfilment.
- Oversee pricing, contract management, and sales administration to ensure accuracy and profitability.
- Build and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with key customers, partners, and stakeholders.
- Monitor financial performance, budgets, and margins to ensure commercial sustainability.
- Ensure compliance with all company, export, and regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with the Group Marketing Manager to manage digital and PR campaigns that support sales objectives.
- Foster a culture of accountability, performance, and continuous improvement across the business.
