Our client is recruiting:
Our client is a young engineering consulting company operating in the energy sector applied to urban and railway transport, they are recruiting a Works Supervision Engineer (Construction Project Engineer). You will work very close to site operations on exciting projects such as the western extension of the RER E line, the construction of the Grand Paris lines, the creation of 3,200 V substations, the development of the Villeneuve-Saint-Georges maintenance facility, and the future CDG Express line.
Your responsibilities:
- Supervise and coordinate the execution of works in accordance with plans, specifications, and established standards
- Ensure compliance with schedules, budgets, and quality requirements
- Carry out regular site visits to ensure the quality of the works and compliance with safety, quality standards, and applicable regulations
- Coordinate the various stakeholders on site (contractors, subcontractors, etc.)
- Ensure communication between the different project stakeholders and manage interfaces
- Prepare progress reports, site meeting minutes, technical reports, and deliverables in compliance with the MOP law
- Manage technical documentation related to the construction works
- Manage any modifications or adaptations required during construction
- Propose technical solutions in the event of site-related issues
- Participate in the acceptance of works in collaboration with the project owner, verifying compliance of the completed works
Your profile:
- Engineering degree or equivalent, preferably specialising in Electrical Engineering, with ideally some initial experience in an industrial environment or engineering consultancy related to railway and/or urban transport infrastructure
- Ability to work independently, manage time effectively, handle multiple projects, and meet deadlines
- Strong interpersonal skills and an affinity for site-based work
- Knowledge of electrical standards and applicable regulations
- Knowledge of CANECO, DIALUX, SIGNON Suite (ELBAS), and AUTOCAD software is an advantage
