• Bachelor of Accounting Science (B. Compt) or equivalent with proven work history.

Responsibility: 

• Handle accounting for multiple entities within the holding company.
• Oversee returns, payroll, and intercompany journals.
• Prepare for the annual audit and perform general accounting functions.
• Capture and verify supplier invoices, ensuring VAT compliance.
• Prepare and process month-end journals and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Analyse the General Ledger and investigate any deviations.
• Review and approve monthly supplier reconciliations and process payments.
• Process bank transactions and perform multi-currency bank reconciliations.
• Manage accounts receivable, conduct age analysis, and resolve overdue accounts.
• Prepare, calculate, and submit statutory returns (VAT, PAYE, Compensation Fund, SARS audits).
• Submit monthly pension fund data and reconcile salaries and contributions.
• Manage and forecast cash flow to mitigate deficits.
• Maintain the fixed asset register and calculate depreciation.
• Compile and submit information for annual financial statements.
• Complete intercompany transaction reports at financial year-end.
