Job Summary

Responsibilities In this full-time role, the Design Coordinator will take charge of the following key responsibilities: Design Management: Plan, oversee, and deliver design projects from conception to completion, ensuring client specifications, deadlines, and quality standards are met. Team Coordination: Lead and coordinate the efforts of designers, engineers, and other stakeholders, fostering collaboration and ensuring effective communication across departments. Quality Control: Ensure all design outputs meet industry standards, best practices, and client expectations. Client Liaison: Act as the primary point of contact for clients during the design phase, addressing needs, incorporating feedback, and ensuring alignment with project goals. Design Review: Conduct regular design reviews, offering constructive feedback to team members and promoting a culture of continuous improvement. Documentation: Maintain thorough project documentation, including meeting notes, progress reports, and relevant technical records. Market Trends: Stay informed about the latest industry trends, technologies, and innovations to incorporate cutting-edge solutions into design processes. Requirements Educational Background: A bachelors degree in architecture or engineering is required (a masters degree is preferred). Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in design management or project coordination within a design and engineering environment. Technical Skills: Proficiency in design software, with Revit preferred. Strong understanding of design workflows, quality standards, and industry regulations. Soft Skills: Exceptional leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and guide a multidisciplinary team. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong problem-solving abilities and attention to detail. Client Management Expertise: Proven experience in client engagement and stakeholder coordination, ensuring successful delivery of projects.
