As a result of an awarded major EPCM project in Namibia, the client is seeking a detail-oriented Planner to join on site project team on 6:2 roster
About the role
- Develop and maintain detailed project schedules across all phases of construction.
- Monitor progress against baseline schedules and provide regular updates to site and project teams.
- Identify schedule risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with construction, engineering, procurement, and project controls teams to ensure alignment of planning activities.
- Support contractor schedule reviews and ensure compliance with project timelines.
- Prepare and present progress reports, forecasts, and performance metrics to the client and client stakeholders.
- Assist in the development of recovery plans and change impact assessments.
About you
- 5+ years of experience in project planning within EPCM or construction environments.
- Proficiency in planning software such as Primavera P6 and MS Project.
- Strong understanding of construction sequencing, resource loading, and critical path analysis.
- Experience working in remote or international project locations is highly regarded.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, site-based environment.
