About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Director of Food and Beverage to join our team at President Hotels, where exceptional guest service is at the forefront of every interaction. As part of our luxury offering, we need someone who can lead our F&B operations with commercial acumen and operational expertise, delivering consistently high standards across all outlets.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee and lead all Food & Beverage operations, including restaurants, bars, banqueting, conferencing, and events.
- Provide strategic and hands-on leadership to all F&B teams.
- Ensure service standards align with the hotel’s luxury positioning.
- Drive consistent guest satisfaction across all outlets.
- Recruit, train, mentor, and develop F&B management and operational teams.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and liquor regulations.
Requirements
- Relevant hospitality or food & beverage management qualification.
- Minimum 5–8 years’ senior Food & Beverage management experience within a large 4 or 5-star hotel or resort.
- Proven experience managing multiple outlets and large teams.
- Strong financial acumen with experience in budgets, forecasting, and cost control.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and liquor legislation.
Qualifications
- Matric or equivalent qualification.
