Job Description

Key Responsibilities Oversee and lead all Food & Beverage operations, including: Restaurants, bars, banqueting, conferencing, and events In-room dining and pool or leisure outlets (where applicable) Operational & Leadership Responsibilities: Provide strategic and hands-on leadership to all F&B teams Ensure service standards align with the hotels luxury positioning Drive consistent guest satisfaction across all outlets Recruit, train, mentor, and develop F&B management and operational teams Ensure compliance with health, safety, hygiene, and liquor regulations Financial & Commercial Responsibilities: Manage F&B budgets, forecasts, and cost controls Drive revenue growth, upselling, and profitability across outlets Monitor stock control, procurement, wastage, and margins Analyse performance reports and implement corrective actions where required Quality & Guest Experience: Maintain exceptional food quality, service presentation, and atmosphere Handle escalated guest feedback professionally and effectively Collaborate with Culinary, Sales, and Events teams to deliver seamless experiences Minimum Requirements Matric or equivalent qualification Relevant hospitality or food & beverage management qualification Minimum 58 years senior Food & Beverage management experience within a large 4 or 5-star hotel or resort Proven experience managing multiple outlets and large teams Strong financial acumen with experience in budgets, forecasting, and cost control Experience working within high-volume, service-driven environments Excellent communication and leadership skills Strong knowledge of food safety, hygiene standards, and liquor legislation Computer literate, including Microsoft Office and hotel POS / PMS systems CV must be 100% updated before submission Key Skills & Attributes Strong operational and commercial mindset Confident, visible leader with the ability to inspire teams High attention to detail and service consistency Calm and decisive under pressure Excellent planning, organisation, and problem-solving skills Guest-focused with a passion for food, service, and hospitality excellence Professional presentation and conduct Why Work With Us Be part of a hotel committed to sincere, memorable hospitality Play a key leadership role in a dynamic, high-profile operation Supportive executive team and collaborative culture Opportunity to shape and elevate a multi-outlet F&B offering Competitive salary and employee benefits Recruitment is aligned with the companys Employment Equity Plan .
