The property is home to an impressive range of plains game including Eland, Giraffe and Zebra, as well as Buffalo, Hippo and several rare breeding species such as Sable, Impala variants, and Golden Wildebeest. The area is also a bird lovers paradise, boasting a very wide variety of species. While the primary focus of the role will be field guiding, from early 2026 the successful candidate will also take on a more senior, hands-on, and exciting role within the rare species breeding programme. This will involve active participation in game management activities such as darting, capturing, dipping, deworming, and feeding, as well as supervising and supporting a small, dedicated team of four staff members within the department.
