Job Summary
Candidate requirements; Needs to be comfortable talking to lodge owners and guides so should have some sort of background in conservation/guiding etc. The task is primarily management/ organization. She/He will arrange all the logistics to have the vehicles under a branded gazebo in a prominent parking lot with mobile billboards and staff to welcome interested parties, go with them on test drives, and talk knowledgeably about the electric vehicles. Prepare for en masse moves to new geographical areas and repeat the above. Coordinate advertising campaigns with local magazines. Coordinate outbound email and telephone marketing campaigns to potential customers. Respond to email inquiries from potential customers. Salary negotiable. A front-of-house type person with a decent experience base across several different lodges is probably the sort of person we are looking for. Ideally, the person should be resident in the Lowveld as face-to-face contact with potential clients and hands-on involvement with the test drive locations will be a big advantage. Marketing material will be separately designed and provided so while we are looking for a person with strong interpersonal skills, they don`t have to be a marketing expert. Initially, this will be a 4-month contract.
