WE ARE HIRING: HOTEL FINANCIAL CONTROLLER Iconic Luxury Boutique Hotel Graaff-Reinet, Eastern Cape An exceptional opportunity has opened for a highly experienced Financial Controller to oversee the full financial function of a historic, luxury boutique hotel in one of South Africas most character-rich towns. This role is ideal for a detail-driven, analytical, and strategic hospitality finance professional with experience in boutique, luxury, or high-end hotel environments. ? Location: Graaff-Reinet, Eastern Cape ?? Eligibility: South African citizens or candidates with valid SA work rights (No work permits available) Key Focus Areas Financial Leadership & Strategy Lead the hotels full financial function Prepare budgets, forecasts & financial plans Provide strategic insights to senior leadership Ensure accurate monthly reporting & variance analysis Drive cost control & margin optimisation Accounting & Financial Controls Oversee AP, AR, banking, reconciliations & payroll support Maintain accurate general ledger & financial records Uphold internal controls & audit readiness Manage cash flow, working capital & expenditure Revenue; Stock & Procurement Ensure accurate revenue capture & billing Support forecasting & yield strategies Monitor stock, COS, procurement & supplier payments Reduce loss, waste & revenue leakage Operational Collaboration Work closely with HODs on budgets & cost drivers Provide financial training & support across departments Assist with business analysis & decision-making Compliance & Governance Ensure adherence to SA financial legislation & tax requirements Prepare for internal & external audits Maintain strict financial ethics & reporting standards ?
