South Africa: Finishing Supervisor – Folding Cartons (Jordan, Middle East) posted by Ultra Personnel

To ensure the efficient utilization of people materials and equipment in the manufacture of Offset printed packaging

Individuals who apply must come from the packaging industry, specifically folding cartons.  Expats are welcome to apply.  The hiring company will pay for flights and visas.

Oversee and supervise the Lamination, Die-Cutting and  Gluing department
Ensure Tooling and machine settings are accurate and efficient
Collaborate with Planning, Printing and Raw Material departments to efficiently schedule and optimise finishing capacity
Develop and ensure effective maintenance planning and execution of assets
Develop and implement Die-cutting and Gluing process standards and systems
Facilitate problem-solving and continuous improvement sessions
Participate and lead product development initiatives
Train, coach and develop operators and teams

Strong knowledge of Folding Carton manufacturing processes, finishing equipment and techniques is crucial. 
Supervisory and people management 
Provide technical support to improve quality and effectiveness
Ability to communicate fluently in English

Technical Trade Qualification
Supervisory development program
7-10yrs experience in operating Folding carton converting equipment
5yrs Flat-bed die-cutting Tooling exposure
Minimum 5yrs Supervisory Management
