We are looking for a professional and welcoming Host/Hostess to be the face of our luxury hotel restaurants. This role is key in creating a memorable first impression for our guests while ensuring smooth seating flow and exceptional service coordination. Experience & Requirements Minimum 2 years experience in a host/hostess or front-of-house role in a luxury hotel or fine dining restaurant Strong interpersonal and guest engagement skills Knowledge of reservation systems and table management Well-groomed, professional appearance with excellent communication skills Ability to multitask and remain calm in a fast-paced environment Must hold a valid South African ID Duties & Responsibilities Greet and welcome guests with warmth and professionalism Manage reservations and walk-in seating efficiently Escort guests to their tables and ensure they are comfortable Coordinate with service staff to ensure smooth dining flow Handle guest enquiries, waitlists, and special requests Maintain the presentation of the reception and dining areas Assist with guest feedback and resolve concerns promptly
