What Were Looking For Were searching for someone who brings warmth, professionalism and a genuine love for people. The ideal Host will have: A valid South African ID or work permit A Matric certificate (Grade 12) At least 2 years recent experience in a hotel or upmarket restaurant as a host or waitron A welcoming personality, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills Confidence in handling enquiries and reservations while keeping things running smoothly A professional appearance, reliability and punctuality Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and public holidays A team spirit and a passion for making every guest feel truly special What Youll Do Welcome and seat guests with warmth and confidence, ensuring smooth table rotation Manage reservations and coordinate seating plans to keep service flowing Provide menus, introduce specials, and support the waitron team where needed Handle guest queries, requests, and feedback with care and professionalism Maintain a polished host stand and uphold presentation standards in the dining area Assist colleagues during busy periods to ensure seamless service Ensure compliance with hygiene, safety, and hotel service standards Why The President?
