General Manager | Luxury Boutique Hotel | Lesotho Salary: LSL 35,000 per month | Live-In Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and passionate General Manager to take the reins at a stunning luxury boutique hotel nestled in the mountains of Lesotho. We are looking for a hands-on, service-driven leader with a strong background in luxury hotel or lodge management. The ideal candidate will have the ability to balance operational excellence with personalised guest experiences while living on-site in a remote and beautiful location. Key Responsibilities: Oversee all aspects of day-to-day hotel operations Ensure exceptional guest service and handle guest relations with care and professionalism Lead and manage a team, ensuring high performance, motivation, and training Monitor budgets, manage financial reporting, and control operational costs Uphold and implement the highest standards across departments Drive marketing and sales efforts to increase bookings and revenue Ensure health, safety, and legal compliance across the property Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and stakeholders Provide regular updates and performance reports to ownership ✅ Requirements: Minimum of 5 years’ experience in a senior hospitality management role, ideally within the luxury or boutique sector Strong leadership skills with the ability to mentor and develop staff Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities Proven financial acumen and experience managing budgets and cost controls High attention to detail and a deep understanding of guest expectations in the luxury space Experience in remote or culturally diverse environments is advantageous Proficient in hotel management systems and Microsoft Office Must be willing to live on-site and work flexible hours Location: Lesotho Full-time, live-in role This is an exciting chance to bring your expertise to a truly unique hospitality setting while enjoying the natural beauty and cultural richness of Lesotho.
