Stock Management: Issue stock to clients daily, ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Address any delivery issues promptly and effectively. Emergency Orders: Plan and manage emergency orders to meet client needs efficiently. Supplier Coordination: Receive daily stock from suppliers and reconcile delivery notes with invoices. Verify purchase orders against supplier invoices and follow up on discrepancies. Maintain regular communication with suppliers to track delivery schedules and resolve issues. Client Communication: Update clients and sales representatives regarding delays, back orders, and estimated time of arrivals via phone and email. Always ensure transparent and professional communication. Returns Management: Arrange for the return of damaged, unsold, or incorrect orders to suppliers within 7 working days, following established procedures. Site Assessments: Conduct telephonic site assessments for potential complications such as staircases or bar counters. Mandate site inspections for sub-contracted work and complete kitchen orders, reporting findings to the Manager. Warehouse Operations: Maintain a well-organized warehouse, overseeing pallet utilization and general maintenance. Stock branding materials and ensure tools are checked regularly. Vehicle and Equipment Management: Coordinate vehicle maintenance on Mondays, including washing and scheduling services. Oversee general maintenance of equipment and tools. Inventory Management: Conduct quarterly stock takes to ensure accuracy and accountability. Staff Supervision: Manage warehouse staff, including handling leave requests, disciplinary actions, and performance evaluations. Ad Hoc Tasks: Perform additional duties as assigned to support operational needs.
