Job Description
Main purpose and object of the role:
As the Operations Supervisor, you will make sure an organisation is running as well as it possibly can,
with a smooth efficient service that meets the expectations and needs of customers and clients. By
managing day-to-day activities, analysing statistics and reading and writing reports, operations
supervisors play a vital role in this company.
The Operations supervisor has to do a lot of liaising with other team members, including interacting
with managers of different areas of the organization, presenting findings to stakeholders and higher
management as well as training and supervising new employees and tracking and measuring staff
performance.
Main duties of this role:
- Receipt of all timesheets
- Verification of hours against the timesheets
- Delivery of payslips to employees
- Uploads on EDMA for approval
- Payroll queries to be done timeously
- Update and track leave schedules ( all types of leave, annual leave, sick leave, family responsibility leave, study leave)
- Managing any HR & IR issues with employees
- Tracking and updating a HR & IR tracker
- Manage employees performance regularly
- Ensure all employees are equipped with PPE and all PPE issued has been acknowledged by the employee
- Management of time and attendance of all employees
- Management of all client loss eg, traffic fines, lost stock,
- Acknowledge of Debt (AOD) management
Other duties:
- Analyze and identify performance-related issues and ensure appropriate steps to prevent loss
- Provide support and improvement-based based methods
- Provide clerical and administrative support to management if required.
- Other miscellaneous duties as assigned
Required knowledge, skill and abilities:
- Proven work experience as operations supervisor
- Advanced IT skills (databases, MS Office etc)
- Ability to effectively communicate with all levels of the organisation
