Job Title: Maintenance Coordinator Location: City of Cape Town, Somerset West, Somerset West Business Park Job Type: Permanent, expected to work Full-Time hours Primary Industry: Travel, Leisure, Tourism and Hospitality Secondary Industry: Facilities Management Salary: ZAR25000 – ZAR25000 Per month Job Duties: Coordinate and schedule maintenance activities for buildings, equipment, and facilities Ensure all maintenance tasks are completed in a timely and efficient manner Manage maintenance budgets and ensure cost-effective solutions are implemented Oversee maintenance staff and contractors to ensure quality workmanship Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation Identify and address maintenance issues promptly to prevent disruptions Implement preventive maintenance programmes to prolong the lifespan of assets Required Qualifications: Proven experience in maintenance coordination or a related field Excellent organisational and time management skills Strong communication and interpersonal abilities Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines Knowledge of health and safety regulations Education: Qualification in facilities management, engineering, or a related field Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ experience in maintenance coordination Knowledge and Skills: Understanding of building systems and equipment Ability to analyse and solve maintenance issues Proficiency in MS Office and maintenance management software Knowledge of budgeting and cost control Preferred Qualifications: Professional certification in facilities management Experience in the QSR / Food / Hospitality industry Working Conditions: Office-based role with occasional site visits May require working evenings or weekends to oversee maintenance activities Ability to travel to different locations within the City of Cape Town
