About the Role
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Manufacturing Production Assistant to join our busy production team at Montague Gradens, Cape Town. The ideal candidate will have experience with CNC machinery, AutoCAD, and production processes, contributing to efficient and accurate manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Program CNC routers, knives, and lathes
- Create and maintain drawings to support production
- Order outsourced jobs and manage supplier coordination
- Load inventory codes and create Bills of Materials (BOM)
- Prepare costings and production documentation
- Oversee CNC department operations
- Assist with setup of new jobs and troubleshooting production issues
Requirements
- Matric certificate
- Proficient in AutoCAD 2D and Microsoft Office
- Experience working with industrial CNC machines
- Draughting/CAD certification (advantageous)
- Industrial Engineering certification (advantageous)
