Job Summary

Requirement:

Applicant must have sufficient sales/sales management experience, including managing a sales team.
Grade 12.
Bachelor’s degree/equivalent to an NQF Level 7 (specialist, management or technical). – preferred
Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite are essential.
Valid driver’s license.
The job requires handling money and authorisation to dispense and deposit company funds and is subject to fraud and credit checks.

Responsibilities:

Plans for and implements actions required to achieve and exceed the budgeted revenue targets of the company whilst controlling the cost of sales expenses.
Build new relationships and monitor the health of existing ones to ensure the company maximises the benefits of these relationships.
Deploying effective sales methods, procedures and processes to ensure the successful and sustainable development of the business and utilising an innovative approach to enhance these methods when required.
Fulfills all required human resource functions and assumed responsibility for personal development.
Verbal/written warnings are required when necessary
The job involves working long hours per the applicable legislation, as the sales function requires.
You will need to perform duties outside of regular business hours if you need to.
You will be required to travel for sales business trips.

Job Summary

Requirements:

A Sales and Marketing degree or a Business Management degree.
5-8 years of experience in a target-driven sales environment.
3-5 years of experience in a managerial sales position at a medium-sized company.

Responsibilities:

Sales and Marketing Strategy:

Develop, implement, and manage the Sales and Marketing Strategy.
Ensure product offerings are current, relevant, and aligned with industry trends.
Identify new revenue streams and collaborate with the Brand Marketing Manager to update the marketing plan for financial targets.
Oversee the execution of the marketing plan across all departments.
Coordinate and attend sales events to generate leads.

Sales Management and Financial Targets:

Plan and manage financial budgets to meet capacity and performance goals.
Track weekly sales performance, addressing concerns and managing conversions.
Motivate and assist sales teams to meet targets, including digital sales enquiries.

Sales Tools and Training:

Provide sales teams with necessary tools (e.g., fact sheets, forms, presentations).
Organise annual sales training and travel for sales checks and additional training.

Reporting and Analysis:

Provide weekly and monthly sales reports, analysing performance and highlighting action areas.
Supply departments with capacity and budget data to meet targets.

Policies and Procedures:

Develop, implement, and regularly review sales-related policies, procedures, and systems to ensure operational efficiency and mitigate business risk.

R504 000 – R540 000
