Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and present high-quality pastries, desserts, and baked goods in line with the lodges standards.

• Assist the pastry chef in daily kitchen operations, including mise en place, production, and service.

• Maintain strict hygiene, cleanliness, and food safety standards.

• Support menu development and creative presentation of desserts and baked items.

• Ensure consistent quality and attention to detail in all pastry and dessert offerings.

• Collaborate effectively with the wider kitchen team to ensure smooth service operations.

• Assist with stock control, ordering, and inventory management of pastry ingredients.

Candidate Requirements

• Formal culinary training or relevant qualification in pastry or baking.

• Previous experience in a luxury hotel, lodge, or high-end restaurant pastry department preferred.

• Strong technical pastry skills with a keen eye for detail and presentation.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.

• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
