Job Description
Minimum Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, or related field
(Strong chemical industry experience may be considered in place of qualification) - Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in chemical or technical sales
- Proven B2B sales track record
- Solid understanding of chemical products and their applications
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel
- Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Experience in industrial chemicals, water treatment, mining, coatings, or manufacturing
- Existing industry contacts or client base
- Experience working with tenders and large corporate clients
- CRM system experience
- Customer-focused mindset
- Negotiation and closing skills
- Problem-solving and analytical thinking
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and develop new business opportunities within assigned territory
- Manage and grow an existing client base
- Promote and sell chemical products/solutions tailored to client needs
- Conduct client visits, site assessments, and product demonstrations
- Provide technical advice and support on chemical applications
- Prepare and present quotations, proposals, and tenders
- Negotiate pricing and close sales deals
- Achieve and exceed monthly and annual sales targets
- Maintain accurate CRM records and sales reports
- Stay up to date with industry trends, competitor activity, and product knowledge
- Work closely with technical, production, and logistics teams to ensure service delivery.
- Minimum 2–5 years’ experience in chemical or technical sales
