JOB DESCRIPTION INFORMATION: Job Title: SAP OER Developer Employment Type: 2 Year Fixed Term Contract Work Model: Fully Remote JOB CONTEXT: The SAP OER Developer designs, develops, and supports SAP solutions within the Object Event Repository (OER) environment. This role focuses on serialization, event tracking, and integration with SAP modules such as SCM, SAP Event Management (EM), Auto-ID Infrastructure (AII), and ERP systems, collaborating with business and technical teams to ensure seamless implementation and optimized performance. THE JOB REQUIREMENTS: Technical Skills: Strong experience in SAP OER (Object Event Repository) development and configuration. Expertise in ABAP development, including BAPIs, BADIs, user exits, and enhancement frameworks. Knowledge of SAP PI for OER data exchange. Experience with developing Fiori Applications using SAP BAS (Business Application Suite) Experience with IDocs, Web Services, OData Services, and API integration in SAP environments. Understanding of serialization, EPCIS (Electronic Product Code Information Services), and GS1 standards. Exposure to SAP SCM/EM and SAP AII is a plus. Experience in Dashboard, Monitoring and Alerting using Prometheus and Grafana is a Plus. Experience with migration from SAP NetWeaver-based systems to S/4HANA is a plus. Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. Ability to work in agile development environments. Attention to detail and ability to document technical solutions effectively. Outputs: Develop and maintain SAP OER solutions for tracking and tracing serialized objects in supply chains. Design and implement custom enhancements, reports, and interfaces in SAP OER. Configure and extend event management and serialization functionalities. Integrate SAP OER with SAP SCM/EM, SAP AII, SAP ERP, and third-party applications. Write and optimize ABAP code, SAP OER rules, and BAPIs to enhance system functionality. Perform system testing, debugging, and troubleshooting of SAP OER-related issues. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business analysts, system analysts, technical testers, business stakeholders and external vendors. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements related to serialization and track & trace processes. Support SAP OER system upgrades, patches, and performance improvements. Create and maintain SAP Fiori Applications. Facilitating KTs (Knowledge Sharing) sessions and onboarding of new SAP developers in team. DESIRED EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATION: Qualification: Bachelor`s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field. Knowledge and Experience: 10 years of experience in SAP development, preferably with SAP OER or related track & trace solutions. (Senior/Expert Level). Hands-on experience in SAP ERP integration for logistics and supply chain processes. Preferred Certifications (Optional): SAP Certified Development Associate ABAP with SAP NetWeaver. SAP Certified Application Associate – SAP S/4HANA Supply Chain for Transportation Management. SAP Certified Development Associate – SAP Fiori Application Developer.
