Job Summary
- Ensure production equipment is in good operating condition and well maintained.
- Ensure correct setting of machines.
- Complete fault analysis in case of malfunction or rejects.
Responsibilities:
- Identify, report and rectify all technical areas of concern on assigned production equipment (machines, moulds, etc.)
- Have and in-depth understanding of:
- Products and their quality criteria.
- Process (material feeding and drying, injection moulding, reheat stretch, blow moulding and injection blow moulding)
- General knowledge of all equipment, including details for assigned equipment.
- Mould installation.
- Technical principles and drawings (e.g. assemblies and spare part finding, pneumatic, hydraulic, electric)
- Fault analysis and problem solving.
- Independently do fault analysis and problem-solving in case of (teamwork as needed)
- Product quality issues.
- Mould issues.
- Machine malfunction (mechanic, hydraulic/pneumatic/electric)
- Recognise and report problems to the Maintenance Manager and Production Manager on other than the assigned equipment.
- Independently do fault analysis and problem-solving in case of (teamwork as needed)
Salary:
R400 000 CTC
