About the Role
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Shipping Customer Service Supervisor to join our team at Greys Recruitment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field, with a minimum of 3-5 years of experience in customer service, shipping, or logistics. They will be responsible for managing customer interactions related to shipping and logistics, resolving issues, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the shipping process.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels
- Resolve problems such as delays, damages, or missing packages in a timely and effective manner
- Enter and verify customer orders and ensure accurate shipment details
- Liaise with warehouses, freight forwarders, and carriers to schedule and track shipments
- Prepare and manage shipping documents, including invoices, packing lists, and customs declarations
- Maintain open communication with customers and internal teams to keep everyone informed of shipment status
- Track key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate reports on a regular basis
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
- Minimum of 3–5 years of experience in customer service, shipping, or logistics, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or team lead role preferred
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with customers, internal teams, and external partners
- Ability to analyze shipping issues such as delays, damages, or missing packages, and implement timely and effective solutions
Qualifications
- Completed Diploma or Degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field
