Responsibilities:

Planning: Develop, monitor, and update project plans, ensuring alignment with timelines and objectives. Management: Oversee day-to-day site operations, ensuring productivity and compliance with safety regulations. Materials Management: Coordinate procurement, delivery, and storage of materials to prevent delays and ensure quality standards. Cost Management: Manage budgets, track expenses, and identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality. Contractual Management: Administer contracts, resolve disputes, and ensure compliance with contractual terms and conditions. Public Relations: Act as the liaison between clients, consultants, and stakeholders, maintaining strong and positive relationships. Qualifications: BEng / BSc / BTech / National Diploma in Civil Engineering or Construction Management. ECSA or SACPCMP registration (preferred). Proficient in MS Office Suite and project management software such as MS Project. Strong knowledge of construction methods, standards, and regulations (e.g., SANS 1200/GCC). Valid drivers license. Skills and Expertise: Proven experience managing civil construction projects, including pipelines, earthworks, roads, and concrete works. Excellent leadership and team management skills. Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Afrikaans. Problem-solving skills and ability to make critical decisions under pressure. Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on construction management experience on civil projects.
