Job Summary

This position will be responsible for gathering pricing and associated information that will assist in decision making, pricing schedules, assisting in audits, tracking stock movements, gathering quotes, developing costing estimates and successions and ad hoc duties to assist the Procurement Manager and team. Job

Duties:

Maintain update product costing on shared drive. Accurately maintain database of costs for manufacturing raw materials Calculation of spreadsheets when new, updated and improved manufacturing processes are established. Compiling and population of all product Bill of Materials. BOM costs to be within 5% of actual costs at all times. Maintaining time and motion studies representative of actual manufacturing process timelines, including monitoring and evaluation thereof. Prepare and send out quotes on the same day as requested. Collaborate with engineering, clients, contractors, department seniors. Collection of pricing information from suppliers and sub-contractors Evaluation of project costs effectiveness or profitability. Monitoring of project stages to ensure costs are in-line with product estimate and forecast. Conduct tri-annual product cost variance analysis. Collaborating with sales team to ensure price efficacy and manage calculation of selling prices as per agreed mark-up. Monthly costing report on all products to be issued to Procurement Manager for approval. Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures. Min

Matric Certificate or equivalent good marks & passioned about mathematics MUST Have a Mechanical Engineering Qualification (Preferably BTech Mechanical MUST be able to read technical drawings /- 3 years of experience in costings Excel & MS Word Bilingual
