South Africa: Software Engineer / Developer – Remote

What Youll Do Design, develop, and maintain modern web applications and scalable back-end systems. Take ownership of features end-to-end, from initial concept through development, deployment, and support. Participate actively in an Agile development process, including stand-ups, sprint planning, code reviews, and continuous delivery. Investigate bugs, perform root cause analysis, and implement robust, long-term fixes. Collaborate closely with product owners, designers, and other engineers to translate business requirements into technical solutions. What You Bring A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field. Fresh graduates should have strong academic results from a reputable university. Alternatively, up to 3 years of hands-on software development experience. Experience or strong foundational knowledge in one or more programming languages such as C#, JavaScript, Java, or C++. Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases. Exposure to modern frameworks or technologies (e.g. ASP.NET, React, Node.js) is advantageous but not essential. A proactive, analytical mindset with the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
