Responsibilities:
Create detailed steel fabrication drawings using Tekla Structures software. Produce 3D models for steel structures, including beams, columns, and connections. Review and interpret architectural and structural drawings. Collaborate with engineers and fabricators to ensure accuracy and feasibility. Assist in managing project timelines and ensuring deadlines are met. Qualifications: Proven experience as a Tekla Steel Detailer. Proficiency in Tekla Structures software. Strong knowledge of structural steel detailing and fabrication. Excellent communication and problem-solving skills. Duties and responsibilities: Produces detailed drawings for steel fabricators and steel erectors Prepares detailed plans, drawings and other documents for the manufacture and erection of steel members (columns, beams, braces, trusses, stairs, handrails, joists, metal decking
Requirements:
Matric Software for steel detailing used is Tekla CAD software 5 years’ experience as a Detailer and using Tekla Software Must have experience in the steel industry Portfolio of work/drawings to be presented at interview At the interview a test will be conducted onsite on a laptop Strong communication skills Attention to detail
