5* Game Lodge in the Pilanesberg is looking for a Stock Controller. The suitable candidate will have strong Food and Beverage Stock control experience, responsible for managing inventory levels , ensuring accurate stock records and optimizing supply chain processes within the food and beverage department. This role involves tracking stock movement , conducting audits , liaising with suppliers and ensuring cost-effective inventory management. Duties: Inventory Management: Continually, Monitor and maintain optimal stock levels. Conduct regular stock counts and reconcile discrepancies. Track expiry dates and manage stock rotation. Ensure proper storage conditions. Procurement & Supplier Coordination: Coordinate with suppliers for timely deliveries. Verify deliveries against purchase orders. Maintain supplier relationships and negotiate contracts. Cost Control & Reporting: Analyse stock usage trends. Track daily cost of sales / stock usage for various departments Generate and maintain inventory reports. Assist in budgeting and forecasting stock needs. Compliance & Quality Assurance: Ensure compliance with safety and hygiene standards. Implement stock control procedures. Conduct periodic audits. Requirements: Grade 12 Diploma in Stock Management will be an added advantage At least 2-3 years’ experience working within a hospitality as a Stock controller / Stock operator POS and Sage experience Must be willing to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays. Able to assist with stock stakes Able to do variance analysis of all inventory & inventory stock counts & put corrective measures in place Able to input stock take figures & creation of all relevant reports Able to assist with balancing all stores weekly & month end. Able to ensure correct stock rotation in stores & beverage outlet Able to maintain store PAR Levels
