Trails Guide | Luxury Safari Lodge | Timbavati Salary: Negotiable DOE | Live-In Position Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced and passionate Trails Guide to join a luxury safari camp in the Timbavati region. This role is ideal for a knowledgeable guide with a strong focus on wildlife, bushcraft, and guest engagement, committed to delivering exceptional safari experiences. Photography skills are considered a strong advantage. Requirements: • Proven experience as a Trails Guide or Field Guide within a luxury safari environment • Strong knowledge of wildlife, ecology, and bushcraft • Excellent communication and guest engagement skills • Professional, reliable, and guest-focused approach • Photography skills advantageous • Ability to live and work in a remote bush environment • Valid guiding qualifications and relevant permits (advantageous) Key Responsibilities: • Lead guided walking safaris and game drives, ensuring guest safety at all times • Interpret wildlife behaviour and share in-depth ecological knowledge with guests • Deliver engaging, educational, and memorable safari experiences • Assist with animal tracking and bush navigation • Maintain exceptional safety, ethical, and professional standards • Collaborate with camp teams to ensure seamless guest service • Support general camp operations, including trail and vehicle upkeep Package: • Salary: Negotiable DOE • Live-in accommodation • All meals provided • Uniform and work equipment (where applicable) • Opportunity to work within a prestigious safari lodge environment To apply for the Trails Guide position, please submit your updated CV, reference letters, and a recent head & shoulders photo Please note: Due to the high volume of applications, only candidates who meet the listed requirements will be contacted.
