Location: Stormsvlei, Western Cape About the Position We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Game Ranger to join our team at a private game reserve in the Stormsvlei area. The successful candidate will be responsible for wildlife conservation, guest experiences, and the daily management of the reserve. Key Responsibilities · Conduct guided game drives and walking safaris · Monitor wildlife movements, health, and behavior · Ensure anti-poaching and reserve security measures are upheld · Maintain vehicles, equipment, and ranger facilities · Assist with habitat management and conservation projects · Engage professionally with guests, providing educational and memorable experiences · Record and report sightings and incidents accurately Minimum Requirements · FGASA Level 1 (minimum) or equivalent qualification · Valid PDP and Code 10 driver’s license (preferred) · Valid First Aid certificate · Rifle competency (advantageous) · Previous experience as a game ranger (preferred) · Physically fit and willing to work outdoors in all weather conditions · Strong communication and interpersonal skills · Passion for wildlife conservation and ecotourism
