Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our team at TAC Recruitment in Stellenbosch. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting, preferably with 3 years of experience in the agricultural sector. They should be proficient in MS Office and have working knowledge of the MDA system.

Key Responsibilities

Preparing and reviewing of Management Accounts
Tax computations
Actual and forecast comparisons
Analyzing accounts and explaining differences
Reviewing day-to-day tasks of the processor
Reviewing month-end close procedures
Reviewing billing before it is sent to tenants
Ensuring costs are correctly recovered from tenants
Preparing VAT calculations, reconciling VAT differences, gathering information for SARS queries
Preparation of audit folders

Requirements

Accounting qualification
3 years related experience preferably in the agricultural sector
Working knowledge of MDA system (advantageous)
MS Office

Qualifications

Completed accounting qualification (e.g. BCom or ACCA)
