About the Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Laboratory Assistant to join our team in Stellenbosch. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in Animal Science and laboratory experience, although not required. As a Laboratory Assistant, you will play a crucial role in supporting our research activities, working closely with our team to ensure the highest standards of quality control and laboratory procedures.
Key Responsibilities
- Preparing for and performing various analyses and experimental work
- Coordination of samples and results
- Preparation of analysis reports
- Preparation of standards and reagents required for analyses
- Assisting with various quality control and laboratory projects
- Assisting with general laboratory housekeeping
Requirements
- Good organizational skills
- Ability to prioritize important and urgent tasks
- Analytical thinking and attention to detail
- Enthusiastic, self-motivated, and eager to learn
- Must work well in a team and have good communication skills
Qualifications
- Tertiary education in MSc / BSc Animal Science
