- Proven experience in general maintenance within a hotel, estate, or similar environment
- Relevant qualification or trade experience will be an advantage
- Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends or standby when required
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Valid driver’s license (advantageous)
Key responsibilities:
- Perform day-to-day maintenance across the hotel and estate
- Carry out general repairs (plumbing, welding, carpentry, painting, and basic building maintenance)
- Conduct preventative maintenance and routine inspections
- Respond to maintenance call-outs promptly to ensure guest comfort and safety
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and hotel operational procedures
