Reservations Manager 5-Star Luxury Hotel | Stellenbosch Kendrick Recruitment is seeking an experienced Reservations Manager to join a prestigious 5-star luxury hotel in Stellenbosch. This is an exciting opportunity for a highly organised and service-driven professional with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences in the luxury hospitality sector. Requirements: Grade 12 with a relevant tertiary qualification in hospitality or tourism Minimum 3 years experience as a Reservations Manager Previous experience in a 5-star or luxury environment preferred Strong leadership, communication, and team management abilities Proficient in hotel reservation systems, preferably Protel Air Solid understanding of revenue management principles Exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills Highly guest-focused with a professional and approachable demeanour Ability to thrive in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays Responsibilities: Oversee the entire reservations process, ensuring a seamless and professional guest experience from enquiry to booking confirmation Lead, coach, and motivate the reservations team to consistently deliver high service standards Maximise room revenue through strategic inventory management in collaboration with the Lodge Sales Manager and external partners Maintain accurate data entry, system updates, and reporting within Protel Air or similar platforms Ensure all guest communications are personalised and of the highest quality Manage VIP reservations, special requests, and resolve guest issues with discretion and efficiency Handle all incoming emails, phone calls, and messages in a timely and professional manner Collaborate closely with other Heads of Departments to ensure operational cohesion Attend departmental meetings, compile reports, and provide performance updates as required Package: Salary: Negotiable depending on experience Luxury 5-star hotel environment in Stellenbosch To Apply: Please send your updated CV, reference letters, and qualifications Please note: Due to the high volume of applications, only candidates who meet the listed requirements will be contacted.
