Job Summary
Your Role:
-
Manage and expand a portfolio of customers including contractors, construction professionals, farmers, architects, and engineers
-
Identify new business opportunities and open doors in the market, particularly in decking systems, aluminium solutions, and roofing structures
-
Deliver tailored product presentations and offer practical solutions that align with client needs
-
Stay on top of local trends, customer demands, and competitor activities to inform sales strategy
-
Prepare quotes, provide technical input, and support clients through the sales process
-
Maintain accurate sales reporting and communicate regularly with the head office
Requirements
What You Bring:
-
5+ years’ sales experience in construction, building materials, or related fields
-
Strong communication and negotiation skills, with a solution-driven approach
-
A solid understanding of trusses, rib & block decking, aluminium fenestration, and general building systems
-
Familiarity with the local market in the Winelands and surrounding areas (including parts of the Northern Cape suburbs)
-
Experience using IQ Retail software and MS Office
-
Valid drivers license and own reliable vehicle travel is essential
