Johannesburg North: Management Accountant posted by Network Finance
Working closely with senior leadership and the Board, you’ll be responsible for delivering meaningful financial reporting, preparing monthly consolidated management accounts, overseeing reporting to both internal and external stakeholders, and driving automation initiatives to improve efficiencies across the finance function. You’ll also play a key role in funding and insurance-related activities while providing guidance to four indirect reports to ensure the finance team delivers consistently high standards.

Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and present monthly consolidated management accounts.
- Deliver accurate financial reporting to internal and external stakeholders.
- Prepare financial reports and presentations for Board meetings.
- Drive finance automation initiatives to improve reporting efficiencies.
- Support funding, insurance and treasury-related activities.
- Analyse financial performance and provide strategic recommendations.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, financial controls and governance requirements.
- Provide guidance and oversight to four indirect reports while fostering collaboration across the finance function.
Job Experience and Skills Required:
Education:
- CA(SA) qualification is non-negotiable.
Experience:
- Minimum of 4 years’ post-articles experience.
- Proven hospitality or hotel industry experience is essential.
- Strong experience preparing monthly consolidated management accounts.
- Experience reporting to executive leadership, internal and external stakeholders, and Board level.
- Exposure to finance automation initiatives.
- Experience with funding and insurance-related financial activities will be advantageous.
Skills:
- Advanced Microsoft Excel.
- Strong financial reporting and consolidation expertise.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Strong communication and presentation abilities.
