Job Summary
Candidate requirements;

- Knowledge of logistics systems and competence with Microsoft programs.
- Administratively precise and well organized.
- Be task-orientated.
- Good interpersonal skills and communication skills – ability to liaise at all levels.
- Outgoing, responsible, positive, can-do attitude, self-motivated, and confident.
- Proven experience in Wine warehousing.
- Proven experience in SAWIS.
- Proven experience in logistics.
- An Excise background will be nice to have.
Candidate responsibilities;
- Logistics regarding sending samples, whether for local or export clients.
- Assisting the winemaker with WineMS admin. Adding deliveries, dry goods, and all consumables on the system.
- Maintaining the sensorial tasting schedule as per wine online regulations.
- Assisting with the ordering of dry goods where needed before production.
- Adjusting WineMS with the chemicals as received from suppliers and placing it on the system.
- Adding the wine sales orders to the system and supplying Procurement with the monthly reports.
- Assist with the logistics of moving stock to and from storage facility.
- Liaising with clients in terms of order placement.
- Logistics behind orders regarding national clients with the wine sales manager.
- Logistic arrangements with export/import of containers via JF Hillebrand.
- Deliveries, invoices, and following up on payments.
- Assisting the wine sales manager with the wine club (record keeping, orders, contact.
- Checking of stock levels at warehouses and distribution companies (Takealot, ASML logistics etc.)
