Job Title: Quantity Surveyor

Location: City of Cape Town, Mitchells Plain, Strandfontein

Job Type: Contract, expected to work Full-Time hours

Salary: ZAR25000 – ZAR45000 Per month

Job Duties:

• Prepare and submit accurate cost estimates for construction projects
• Conduct cost analysis and develop budgets
• Create and manage Bill of Quantities
• Negotiate and manage contracts with contractors and subcontractors
• Monitor project progress and costs to ensure adherence to budget
• Provide advice on procurement strategies
• Prepare and analyse financial reports

Requirements:

• National Diploma / BTech: Quantity Surveying OR National Diploma / BTech: Construction Management OR similar
• Professional memberships will be advantageous  
• Minimum of 3 – 5 years of experience as a Quantity Surveyer
• Experience in working with contractors and subcontractors
• Commercial expsoure will be highly beneficial

Knowledge and Skills:

• Strong understanding of quantity surveying principles and practises
• Proficient in preparing cost estimates and budgets
• Excellent negotiation and contract management skills
• Ability to analyse financial data and reports
