Job Summary
Key Responsibilities:
- Full Accounting and Tax Function:
- Manage the full accounting and tax function of a client portfolio.
- Produce monthly management reports.
- Handle the full accounting function up to trial balance.
- Draft annual financial statements for companies, trusts, and sole proprietors using Caseware.
- Provide advice on all tax and accounting matters.
- Tax Preparation and Submission:
- Prepare and submit income tax returns for individuals and companies.
- Prepare and submit provisional tax returns for individuals and companies.
- Prepare and submit VAT returns for sole proprietors, companies, and trusts.
- Attend to all SARS correspondence.
- File notices of objections and suspension of debt on e-filing.
- Client Interaction:
- Conduct yourself in a professional manner, adhering to workplace etiquette and professionalism.
- Travel to clients at various locations as required.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Education:
- Matric
- Accounting Degree or Higher Diploma (non-negotiable).
- Completed articles.
- Professional Affiliations:
- Affiliations to SAICA, SAIPA, ACCA, CIMA, and SAIBA are preferred.
- Experience:
- At least 3-5 years of experience in an accounting environment.
- Working experience and knowledge of Pastel.
- Experience with e-filing is essential.
- Knowledge of Caseware is imperative.
- Skills:
- Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Competent in handling all SARS correspondence.

- A valid driver’s license and own vehicle (non-negotiable)
Remuneration: R30 000 – R35 000 CTC
