This role is ideal for a passionate chef with strong experience in a high-volume kitchen who is looking to work in a beautiful bushveld setting. Key Responsibilities: Assist the Head Chef in managing the daily kitchen operations Supervise and train junior kitchen staff to ensure consistency and quality Ensure all dishes are prepared to the highest standard and delivered on time Maintain top hygiene and safety standards within the kitchen Assist with stock control, ordering, and kitchen cost management Contribute to menu planning and culinary development Manage kitchen operations during busy service periods ✅ Requirements: Minimum of 3–5 years’ experience as a Sous Chef in a high-volume kitchen Formal culinary training or relevant qualification preferred Proven leadership skills with a proactive, hands-on approach Strong organisational and communication abilities Ability to thrive under pressure while maintaining high standards Flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays This is a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious Sous Chef to be part of a respected team within the luxury safari hospitality sector.
