About the Role
Motus Corporation is seeking a highly motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Manager: Service. As a key member of our team, you will oversee the service department operations to ensure the timely and efficient completion of vehicle repairs and maintenance. With a strong focus on customer satisfaction and profitability, we are looking for someone who can drive continuous improvement and achieve operational goals.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the day-to-day operations of the service department, including scheduling and assigning work to technicians, monitoring progress, and ensuring high quality standards are met.
- Develop and implement strategies to improve service department efficiency, customer satisfaction, and profitability.
- Maintain and analyze key performance indicators to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, procedures, and safety regulations.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, vendors, and other departments within the organization.
- Provide effective leadership, coaching, and support to service department staff.
- Exceed all targets and labour sale objectives through efficient workshop operations.
- Ensure efficient equipment control, assets control and fluent administration processes.
Requirements
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a supervisory or management role within the automotive service industry.
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicle repair and maintenance processes.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills.
- Proven ability to drive continuous improvement and achieve operational goals.
- Proficiency in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and service management software.
- Valid driver’s license.
Qualifications
- Recognized Motor Trade plus N6 or Technical Diploma.
