About the Role

A well-established manufacturing company in the Western Cape is currently hiring a Millwright to support operational excellence and continuous improvement. As a key member of the team, you will execute preventive maintenance schedules, repair and maintain equipment in both the process environment and workshop, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Execute preventive maintenance schedules
  • Repair and maintain equipment in both process environment and workshop
  • Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
  • Collaborate with teams and manage contractors
  • Support operational excellence and continuous improvement

Requirements

  • Relevant Millwright qualification
  • Solid experience in FMCG environment
  • Familiarity with quality systems (such as FSSC)
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Ability to work shifts with a production team
  • Excellent communication, initiative, and proactive approach to OHS standards

Qualifications

  • Formal education/certifications in Millwrighting are required.
