About the Role
A well-established manufacturing company in the Western Cape is currently hiring a Millwright to support operational excellence and continuous improvement. As a key member of the team, you will execute preventive maintenance schedules, repair and maintain equipment in both the process environment and workshop, and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Execute preventive maintenance schedules
- Repair and maintain equipment in both process environment and workshop
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical systems
- Collaborate with teams and manage contractors
- Support operational excellence and continuous improvement
Requirements
- Relevant Millwright qualification
- Solid experience in FMCG environment
- Familiarity with quality systems (such as FSSC)
- Strong leadership skills
- Ability to work shifts with a production team
- Excellent communication, initiative, and proactive approach to OHS standards
Qualifications
- Formal education/certifications in Millwrighting are required.
