Our client in the Engineering Consulting industry is looking for a Commercial Architect to join their team in Western Cape, Cape Town North area.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of commercial buildings such as office parks, retail centres, hotels, and mixed-use developments.
• Prepare and present detailed design proposals, drawings, and specifications.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, project managers, and contractors.
• Ensure compliance with building regulations, zoning laws, and health & safety requirements.
• Oversee project execution from concept to completion, ensuring delivery within scope, budget, and timeline.
• Integrate sustainable and innovative design practices into all projects.

 
? Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Architecture (SACAP registration required).
• Proven experience in commercial architectural design and project delivery.
• Proficiency in architectural design software (AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, etc.).
• Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and construction processes.
• Minimum of 5 years’ post-qualification experience in commercial projects.
