Job Summary
- Site Work:
- Assist with new installations, repairs, and maintenance (including travel outside Cape Town when required)
- Attend to call-outs once trained
- Test and repair motors
- Wire and manufacture electrical control panels and components
- Admin & Stock Control:
- Complete timesheets and job cards
- Assist with stock and company vehicle maintenance
- Tool Management:
- Ensure tools are properly stored and in working condition
- Maintain cleanliness of tools and company vehicles
REQUIREMENTS & COMPETENCIES:
- Technical Skills:
- Proven electrical background (NQF courses required)
- Ability to read electrical drawings (advantageous)
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Soft Skills & Traits:
- Reliable, honest, and disciplined
- Team player with clear and efficient communication skills
- Proactive and able to work unsupervised
- Sober habits and attention to detail
