About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Branch Manager (Technical) to lead our technical and engineering supply branch in the Western Cape region. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for driving profitability, managing expenses, and ensuring targets are met. You will also be expected to provide exceptional customer service, resolve problems, and maintain high standards of HSE and security.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive profitability and manage branch expenses
- Ensure targets are met through daily stock counts and effective inventory management
- Provide excellent customer service, resolving problems and handling complaints effectively
- Motivate staff and ensure the highest standards, policies, and procedures are upheld and adhered to
- Maintain HSE and security within the branch
Requirements
- Tertiary qualification in Business or Retail Management
- At least 5 years of experience in operations and branch management within the technical or engineering supply sector
- Proven experience in customer service excellence, focusing on effectively resolving problems, handling complaints, and attending to queries and quotations
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or Retail Management (or equivalent)
- Matric certificate is acceptable if no other formal education mentioned
