Western Cape: Civil / Structural Engineer – Advanced Materials posted by Communicate Finance

• Participate in research projects focused on sustainable and high-performance structural materials
• Conduct laboratory testing and performance assessments
• Support development of new design methodologies based on research outcomes
• Collaborate with academic, research, and industry partners
• Prepare comprehensive technical and research reports

Skills & Experience:

• Minimum 3 to 6 years of experience in civil or structural engineering with materials exposure
• Strong knowledge of structural material properties and behaviour
• Experience in laboratory testing and data analysis
• Strong collaboration and communication skills
• Detail-oriented with a research-focused mindset

Qualification:

• Master’s degree (MEng/MSc) in Structural Engineering, Materials Science, or related field
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering essential
